Ich wünsche eine fröhliche Wiedervereinigung (Kapitel Drei)

Among others, a paradox in Olli aus Ossiland is the party itself. Merely hours before the setting of the story the people were afraid to say anything against the government. Now, however, they party. They are drinking, eating, laughing, and having a good time because the wall is now open to crossing. When Olli’s father stands to give his speech he is nervous because he does not know what to say. This is paradoxical because they no longer have to worry about the government attacking him or his family, but rather he is afraid of the judgment of the people. Another paradox at the party is that Olli’s father is there as well as everyone else; from the rebellious ‘skinheads’ to Olli’s high-ranking father. They all came together to celebrate that the wall had been opened. This is ironic because he had spent the last several years of his life defending and serving the government yet he is now standing by people who may have never believed in it at all.

1) Maik möchte zu Berlin mit ihn Brüders Auto fahren. Er möchtet Biene mit sein nehmen.

2) Olli denkt Maiks Idee ist nicht gut, denn Maik sehr betrunken ist. Olli denkst es ein sclechte Idee auch ist, weil Berlin ist sehr weit weg.
„Also, ehrlich gesagt, Maik, ich weisst nicht, ob das eine gute Idee ist...“ – Olli (12)

3) Sabine will nach Berlin farhen, denn der Mauer aufgemacht.

Wie alles anfing (Kapitel Eins)

„Und in den Sommerferien vielleicht sogar bis an die Ostsee. Vielleicht mit Biene zusammen.“ – Olli

Olli und Sabine sind fünfzehn Jahre alt. Ich finde es sehr intressant, dass er möchtet zu die Ostsee gehen. In die USA kannst du allein nicht gehen. Manchmal kannst du nicht nach Davenport gehen! Aber, Olli möchte zu OSTSEE mit ihn FREUNDIN gehen. Das ist sehr schlecht in die USA! Du sollst deine Freundin zu der Strand nicht nehmen! Die Ostsee ist viel Uhr von Ollis Stadt, aber Davenport ist fünfundvierzig Minuten von meine Haus! Ich möchte mit mein Freund zu der Strand gehen! Olli hat ein Schwalbe zu Ostsee gehen!
